MFM FRAME Program

The MFM FRAME (Fellowship-Resident Applicant Mentorship Experience) Program is designed to pair residents considering MFM fellowships with fellows who have recently completed the process to augment the mentorship that applicants get at their home institutions.

Details about the program:

Who: First-year MFM fellow matched with a third-year resident considering applying to MFM 
What: One year of mentorship experience to optimize the application process for resident candidates (see below for more details on roles and expectations).
When: Apply to be a mentor or mentee.

General expectations:

  • Set up an initial meeting in the first half of March via Zoom to get to know each other and to clarify the goals of the mentorship experience unique to the mentee.
  • Meet quarterly (or more as agreed on by you and your mentor).
  • Clear communication and expectation setting for the mentor and the mentee.
  • If a mentorship relationship is not working, let the faculty know so we can help.
